Adam Scherr is following in his father’s footsteps and will step onto the softball diamond… for one weekend, at least.
Steeler Nation recently announced Adam Scherr, aka Braun Strowman, and former NFL tight end Dorin Dickerson will take part in the Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game near Pittsburgh this summer. Dickerson played for the Pittsburgh Steelers during his career, and Scherr’s father, Rick “Crusher” Scherr was a legendary slow-pitch softball star known in some circles as “the Home Run King of Softball.”
The Three Rivers Celebrity Softball Game takes place at Consol Energy Park, home of the Washington Wild Things on July 16. Event information can be found at this link.
On a related note, Scherr recently shared that he’s coming out with his own softball bat with Anarchy Bats called “The Crusher”, named in honor of his father.
