Thunder Rosa continues to rack up the accolades, including a heartfelt one from her local community.
AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa announced that she has been honored by Bexar County, Texas, as the county government officially proclaimed March 16 as ‘Thunder Rosa Day’.
Rosa took to Twitter to acknowledge the honor:

Rosa defeated Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. on the March 16 edition of AEW Dynamite: St. Patrick’s Day Slam inside of a steel cage to claim the AEW Women’s Championship. The event took place in her adoptive hometown of San Antonio, the county seat of Bexar County. In addition, Rosa also had “3.16” emblazoned on the back of her tights during the title win.

Following her AEW Women’s Championship win, Thunder Rosa posted the following statement in regards to what her title win meant to her:
