Austin Theory is ready to win gold in WWE.
Austin Theory has had a unique rise in WWE. he competed in his first WrestleMania spontaneously back in 2020 in a match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship, teaming with Angel Garza as a replacement for Andrade. Shortly after that WrestleMania, he was aligned with Seth Rollins. Shortly after that angle was scrapped, Austin ended up back in NXT as the protege of Johnny Gargano and now, he is on Monday Night Raw as the protege of none other than Vince McMahon.
Austin Theory competed in a losing effort against Pat McAfee at WrestleMania 38 and would eat a Stone Cold Stunner courtesy of Stone Cold Steve Austin the cap off his WrestleMania weekend.
However, by Monday, April 4, 2022, Austin was ready to start his rebound and did so by pinning Finn Balor as part of a six-man tag team match. Following Raw, Austin Theory made his intentions clear, he wants the United States Championship and he said he was going to talk to Mr. McMahon about his intentions on the latest episode of WWE Raw Talk
“All I hear you talking about is the past,” Austin began. “This, blah blah blah, the past. that, blah blah blah, the past. Let’s not talk about the past, let’s talk about the future. Let’s talk about Monday Night Raw tonight. What happened? Austin Theory got the United States Champion down, A-Town Down. I pinned him.
“What’s next? The United States Championship sitting on this shoulder. Heck, it could be on the other shoulder, because I’ve got shoulders like boulders and I’m going straight to the top. Speaking of where I’m going, I’m going to talk to my mentor, Mr. McMahon about the United States Championship, but before I do that, I’ve got something for you to know. I might just go talk to my mentor Mr. McMahon, again, about your little question that you had for me. The past? It better be about the future next time.”
