Best Seat In The House: Eric Bischoff Hypes ‘Supershow’, Steve Austin’s WrestleMania Return

Eric Bischoff knows that WrestleMania week is a special one for fans and talent.

During a recent interview with WrestleZone, Eric Bischoff promoted his appearance at Thuzio’s Supershow Live in Dallas, which also features appearances by Jeff Hardy, William Regal, Jeff Jarrett and Conrad Thompson. Bischoff shared his excitement to take the stage with such an esteemed group, noting that he’s got “the best seat in the house” in Dallas.

“WrestleMania week is a special week for the wrestling business and the fans and everything in-between. The energy’s always high, there’s always something going on with all the different events all over the place this weekend in Dallas,” Bischoff said. “It’s a good time, it’s like Super Bowl week, really, but for wrestling fans. I got the best seat in the house, man, I’ll have a seat right there front-and-center and be able to listen to some amazing stories.

“You look at William Regal — I still call him Steven, or King Regal, but for me it’s Steven — what a fascinating man. He’s probably got a more interesting history and perspective, in many ways, in professional wrestling because of his travels. He’s wrestled all over the world at such a young age and with a different style of wrestling, his experiences are so unique that I’m really looking forward to hearing about them and talk about some of those experiences,” he explained. “And when it comes to Jeff Hardy, Jeff’s such a fascinating character, he’s been front and center, in a very high-profile way for so long, he’s had his ups, his downs, the amazing things he’s accomplished in the ring and we can see where he’s at, where his head is at and what his perspective is at this point of his career. So, like I said, I’ve got the best seat in the house. I can’t wait.”

One of the other major events this weekend happens to be “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s WrestleMania “confrontation” with Kevin Owens. Bischoff says he won’t be in AT&T Stadium to witness it first-hand, but he’ll be paying close attention to the segment and is happy for both competitors to bask in that spotlight.

“I wanted to go to that, I wanted to be at ringside for that [Stone Cold’s return] but I just couldn’t. I’m excited for Steve and for Kevin [Owens]. C’mon Kevin, good for you brother, you deserve it and it’s going to be such a great moment. I’m not envious, but I’m living vicariously through Kevin because I know how exciting it’ll be for him. He’s such a cool guy, he’s such a great person and a professional and a great talent, and I’m happy for Steve,” Bischoff said. “I’ve seen pictures of Steve over the last couple of weeks and he looks like he’s in phenomenal shape. He looks like he’s twenty years younger. He’s got size on him but he looks lean, he’s doing Crossfit. He looks like a machine. Whatever [the “match” is], it doesn’t matter to me because it’s the moment. Whether it’s a match or a moment, he hits a bunch of Stunners of everybody, I don’t care. It’ll just be a glorious moment for the fans and Steve and Kevin.”

Tickets are still available for Supershow Live at this link. If you aren’t in Dallas, you can still watch the event live on FITE.
