EC3 has taken his new promotion, Control Your Narrative on the road, leading many fans to wonder how the product will be presented in a live setting.
Previously, EC3 worked with talents like Adam Scherr and Matt Cardona, among others, to produce cinematic features that were pre-taped and heavily edited. But with the shift to live events, Control Your Narrative will have to at least somewhat alter its style in this regard.
When asked about the plan for this change during an interview with Chris Van Vliet, “The Essential Character” explained that his strategy is to produce a third “feature” to conclude the previous work he and his team had been doing. From there, Control Your Narrative will aim to create new stories and spotlight new characters as it builds to a show that would equate to a season finale. This event would culminate the stories that will be told on the promotion’s television show.
“The plan moving forward is to have sanctioned and then filmed for TV live matches,” said EC3. “We’re looking at it like this: we’re going to release the third Narrative feature to kind of put an endcap to what we started… And upon that releasing, we will then, therefore, look to create within that style, but we’ll uniquely brand it with our new partner, other creative minds, new talents, and sort of create a sort of seasonal aspect that would be about an eight-to-ten episode run, leading to one giant show, where the payoff is the story you’ve watched over television.
“Upon that show taking place., we will then more than likely be on the road six full weeks, touring, filming for what would then become sort of a more live show in front of human beings and more traditional in a sense. But then introducing new people, new concepts, new stories, new characters. From there, maybe take a week off and then restart the process until we’re billionaire.”
Control Your Narrative continues to expand, as the promotion has announced dates for Cleveland and Detroit in May.
EC3 recently explained why he brought Austin Aries into Control Your Narrative; his comments are available here.
