WWE may be switching up their strategy for the 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
According to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, WWE is considering holding the bulk of the 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony digitally to allow more time for The Undertaker and Vader’s inductions to be held on TV.
From Meltzer:
“Undertaker is going to get the big grand treatment and then I would presume Vader probably will…but a lot of the other guys, there’s been talk of, again with the 90 minutes, not even doing a ceremony but just doing it digitally.”
The 2022 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set to air from 10:30 p.m. ET until Midnight ET on Friday, April 1 on Peacock in the U.S. and the WWE Network everywhere else.
WWE have only confirmed The Undertaker and Vader as inductions into this year’s class, however several more names are expected to be announced.
