“…every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end” … “Closing Time” lyrics, or a good tagline for AEW Revolution?
Tony Khan recently spoke with Christopher Walker for DAZN ahead of AEW Revolution and spoke about how the event will not only serve as the culmination of several ongoing storylines, but fans can expect a few others to start at the show on Sunday. Pay-per-view events typically see feuds come to an end, but Khan says Revolution will set things in motion for what AEW plans to do the rest of this year.
“At Revolution, with the names involved, I think you’re going to see an excellent wrestling show. I’m very confident that the talent will deliver in the ring, but it’s also important that we use the show to build what we want to do for the rest of the year.
“This is going to be a show where some storylines end, but you’re also going to see new storylines emerge,” Khan explained. “We’ve built into this show so well in recent weeks, and you’ll see the hard work pay off at Revolution.”
Tony Khan touted Revolution as the best card the company has ever hosted, adding that the company can’t rest after giving fans one big show. “We have to keep moving forward,” Khan added.
