Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8 just got a whole lot bigger with the addition of IMPACT Wrestling’s JONAH to the card on March 31.
Ahead of next month’s big event, Josh Barnett took to social media to announce that JONAH will be taking part in Bloodsport 8, tweeting out:
“Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport is known for bringing out the heavy and superheavyweights and this man intend to shake the earth with his power. The mountain known as Jonah is coming to fight in #Bloodsport 8. #BloodSport8 Watch it LIVE on @FiteTV,” Josh Barnett tweeted.
While no matches have been announced yet, the following names have been confirmed for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 8:
- Biff Busick
- Janai Kai
- JONAH
- Jon Moxley
- Minoru Suzuki
- Timothy Thatcher

JONAH recently spoke with WrestleZone about the approach he’s taking to balance working in different promotions right now, which includes runs with IMPACT, New Japan and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
“I think it’s more about [my] brand. I’m still JONAH, I’m still the ‘Top Dog’ in each place, it’s just in these places I work with different people and that’s when you get to see the exciting matchups. I’m very happy to be able to do what I’m doing. I have an agreement with New Japan and an agreement with IMPACT and yes, it isn’t something set in stone or for a long-time,” he explained, “but hopefully, it does become that because there is obviously, a lot of perks that come with being contracted. For the time being, I’m really happy with being able to expand and do different things and being in the third-ever ‘Battle of Los Angeles’ for PWG as well, it’s pretty exciting.”
