This week’s episode of AEW Rampage is set to be a big one, as Sammy Guevara will put his TNT Championship on the line against Isiah Kassidy.
During tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, a backstage segment showed a frustrated Matt Hardy, who was mad that Private Party could not win the AEW World Tag Team Championship last week. But with Guevara holding an open challenge for the TNT Championship, Hardy said he wanted that title. Andrade El Idolo then appeared, and Hardy said that Isiah Kassidy would be challenging Guevara for the title. Andrade said he doesn’t want any mistakes from Kassidy, who promptly said that he would not only take the champion’s title, but his girl as well.
Plus, Adam Cole will take on Evil Uno in a singles bout. During a promo on AEW Dynamite, Cole reminded everyone of his undefeated streak in singles action, as his loss to Orange Cassidy in the Lights Out Match was unsanctioned, and therefore it didn’t count. He was clearly frustrated about the defeat, and he vowed to show a different side of himself on Friday.
Tensions rise in the newly formed #AHFO but Matthardybrand offers @IsiahKassidy to face TNT Champion @sammyguevara this FRIDAY on #AEWRampage!
