Edge and Beth Phoenix are no fans of Miz & Maryse, and during tonight’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, the two finally took down the couple in a mixed tag team match
The match saw both teams going at it from the very start, but in the end, Edge and Beth were simply too much for Miz & Maryse. At the end of the match, Phoenix broke up a double Skull Crushing Finale attempt by spearing Maryse. After that, Edge and Phoenix then speared Miz at the same time, and then the pair hit a dual Glam Slam on the Miz and Maryse for the win.

Phoenix chases Maryse around the ring. Maryse falls off the apron and Miz catches her. Edge hits the ring and assaults Miz. After a hair pull from Maryse, Miz takes control of Edge. Miz works over Edge. Edge manages to tag Phoenix. Phoenix hits a spinning sidewalk slam. Miz breaks up the pin. Phoenix gets in Miz’s face. Miz laughs in Phoenix’s face. Phoenix picks Miz up and drives him into the corner. Phoenix lands a flurry of strikes. Maryse attacks from behind with her loaded purse.
Maryse beats down Phoenix. Phoenix manages to tag in Edge, who lands a flurry of offense. Maryse sends Edge flying with a diving ranna. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale. Edge kicks out. Miz and Maryse set up a double Skul Crushing Finale but Phoenix breaks it up with a Spear. Phoenix and Edge Spear Miz at the same time. Edge and Phoenix hit duel Glam Slams for the win.
