WWE SmackDown viewership increased on January 21.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.255 million viewers watched the show on Friday night. This number is up from last week, when 2.174 million viewers tuned into the show. In the 18 to 49 demographic, the show drew a 0.64 rating (836,000 viewers), which marks the best number since the Super SmackDown show on September 10. Compared to last week, SmackDown drew a 0.56 rating in the same demographic.
Thurston also noted that SmackDown ranked second overall in the key demographic on cable on Friday.
Rampage's highest total viewership since Oct 29 and its highest P18-49 since Oct 1.
Smackdown ranked #2 on television overall on the day in P18-49.

This week’s show featured a celebration of Roman Reigns’ record-breaking reign as the WWE Universal Championship. In the main event, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owns battled The Usos. Elsewhere on the show, Naomi faced SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
