Strickland had a successful run in WWE as Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. He signed with the company in 2019, and he had a breakout year in 2021. Scott formed the Hit Row Stable and won the NXT North American Championship in June. Hit Row was collectively drafted to SmackDown in October, but Scott, along with his stablemates Top Dolla and Ashante “Thee” Adonis, was released on November 18.
Before his WWE run, Strickland was one of the most buzzworthy competitors on the open market; he had starred for EVOLVE, Lucha Underground and Major League Wrestling, among other promotions.
