AEW Dynamite may have dropped in overall viewership but in the key demo, Dynamite was able to tie Monday Night Raw.
AEW Dynamite debuted on TBS on January 5, 2022. That episode received over 1 million viewers and unfortunately, the follow-up episode on January 12 dropped in viewership, only receiving 969,000 viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. Next week, they will take on Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander in Mixed Tag action.
In the main event this week, Sammy Guevara defended his interim TNT Championship against Daniel Garcia. The real TNT Champion, Cody Rhodes, will be back next week.
