Lance Archer is back with a vengeance.
On the January 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion Hangman Page discussed his victory over Bryan Danielson and noted that he needed a new challenger. Dan Lambert interrupted the champion and trash-talked the fan-favorite star until Archer stormed the ring. The powerhouse charged, seemingly to attack Lambert, someone he’s previously had issues with. But Archer shocked the fans when he shifted course and brutally attacked Page. Without much resistance from Hangman, Archer beat him up and left him lying with a brutal blackout on a chair.

Archer had been absent for several weeks, as he was recovering from a neck injury. He hasn’t wrestled since the October 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, when he landed awkwardly on his head during a match with Eddie Kingston.
