On January 5, AEW taped several matches for the latest episode of AEW Rampage at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Among other stars, Adam Cole, Britt Baker and HOOK competed at the taping. When the show airs on Friday, it will be followed by AEW Battle of the Belts the following day. Plus, in what promises to be a brutal bout, Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz waged war with Daniel Garcia and 2point 0 in a No DQ, No Rules, No Holds Barred Trios Match. Spoilers are available below.
The results, courtesy of Mike Johnson of PWInsider, are as follows:
Adam Cole defeated Jake Atlas
- Cole and his peers were going to keep attacking Atlas after the bout, but Orange Cassidy and Best Friends made the save. Atlas seemingly hurt his knee during the match, and he was helped to the back.
HOOK defeated Aaron Solow
- Hook won via submission and suplexed QT Marshall after the bell.
Riho & Serena Deeb defeated AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter
- Riho pinned Hayter
No DQ, No Rules, No Holds Barred: Eddie Kingston & Santana & Ortiz defeated 2point0 & Daniel Garcia
- The two teams brawled backstage and made their way into the arena. The chaotic match featured plenty of weapons. In one highlight, Kingston took a triple-suplex through the broadcast table. Garcia and 2point0 attacked Kingston, Santana and Ortiz after the match, but Chris Jericho ran to the ring to stop them.
AEW Rampage will air at 10 p.m. EST on Friday, January 7.
