It doesn’t sound like Grayson Waller will be welcome back in Detroit anytime soon.
WWE NXT 2.0 Superstar Grayson Waller recently appeared on RAW in Detroit to confront AJ Styles. Not only did the WWE Universe make it known that they didn’t want him there, his comments regarding the city on social media afterward certainly didn’t endear himself to the city of Detroit:
“So I’m currently in Detroit, Michigan, been here for 24 hours and really only got one question why would anyone ever choose to live in Detroit? This place sucks,” Grayson Waller said. “I went from Sydney, Australia to Orlando, Florida, where it’s poor weather. 24 hours a day, seven days a week, straight up paradise, and now I come to Detroit. It’s cold. It’s miserable. Everyone’s sad; there’s barely anyone out. This place is dead. Nashville was kind of cold, but that price is a vibe. There’s pretty girls everywhere. There’s country music, man; I love Nashville. I hate Detroit. I must really like messing with AJ Styles if I flew all the way to Detroit, just to annoy him. But I can guarantee one thing I am never coming back to this place again. Detroit sucks!”
Major League Baseball team, the Detroit Tigers didn’t appreciate Grayson Waller’s comments about their city and responded on social media by calling Waller the softest wrestler in WWE:
“Guess we found WWE’s softest wrestler if this guy can’t handle cold. Sheesh,” the Detroit Tigers tweeted.
