Ruby Soho will have the chance to make history by becoming the first AEW TBS Women’s Champion.
On the special “Holiday Bash” episode of AEW Dynamite, Soho faced former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose in a semifinal match in the tournament to determine the inaugural champion. Rose had the size and strength advantage, and the interference of Vickie Guerrero gave her another edge over her opponent. But the woman formerly known as Ruby Riott persevered, as she overcame the odds and clinched the win with the No Future.
