Jonathan Gresham will be wearing multiple hats when it comes to putting on his inaugural TERMINUS show in Atlanta on January 16. Co-TERMINUS promoter and friend Baron Black said that if Gresham were to compete on the card it would be because of his decision and “The Empbruh” is a man of his word. Black made the announcement official that the ROH World Champion will be stepping foot into the ring for action as the duo kicks off “Modern Age Grappling” in Atlanta next year.

- Daniel Garcia
- Moose
- Bandido
- Alex Coughlin
- Dante Caballero
- Janai Kai
- Lee Moriarty
- Joe Keys
- Jay Lethal
- Jonathan Gresham
Gresham and Black recently did an exclusive interview with Dominic DeAngelo of WrestleZone and was asked if Gresham would be wrestling at TERMINUS. At the time, Gresham expressed uncertainity while Baron Black made it known it’s something the two are going to discuss further.
“Very difficult,” Gresham said about making that decision about competing in addition to promoting the show. “I’m really weird about the promotor or the booker being a part of the show. It’s very difficult for me to want to do that. Also I want to be able to kind of help guys with things that they might have questions with. The show just running as a whole, I think I would be better fitted to just watch the show and really just like pay attention to what things we need to change if there is a next show. Yeah, haven’t really given thought to being on the show. Not at all.”
“We didn’t even talk about that! We didn’t even talk about that!” Baron chimed in before stating it’s something the two are going to have to hash out as to whether either of them will be wrestling.
“I don’t know yet, honestly for the same reasons he had, but if, IF we happen to cause I really don’t know if we are, trust me it’s going to be because of my decision. I’m gonna force him to do it,” Baron laughs.
“As he does with everything,” Gresham playfully adds.
“Cause he’s Jonathan Gresham and he’s one of the best wrestlers in the world,” Baron continues. “It kind of wouldn’t feel right but I understand where he’s coming from I feel the same thing as being over this with him. I was like, ‘Let’s just go without vision first’ as what we want to do and then we’ll worry about ourselves later cause we necessarily don’t have to be in, you know what I’m saying?”
“Imagine having to run a show for the first and not being a 100% show what you’re doing is right and then on top of that having a match on your first show and then being nervous about that too. Maybe Baron has like nerves of steel, but I’ll be wrecked. You know what I mean? I would be wrecked having to go through that,” Gresham said. You can check out complete interview below:
