All Elite Wrestling has announced two major title matches for the December 3 episode of AEW Rampage.
The Lucha Brothers will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship in a 2-out-of-3 falls bout against FTR in a rematch from the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view. There, the champions retained by controversially pinning the illegal man, and the challengers consequently feel that they deserve another shot at the gold. Previously, FTR cheated to beat the Lucha Brothers in a match for the AAA World Tag Team Championship. Ironically, the day after this rematch on Friday, FTR will defend their titles against the Lucha Brothers at AAA Triplemania Regia.
Plus, Sammy Guevara will defend the AEW TNT Championship against Tony Nese, who challenged “The Sexy Spanish God” to the match on the November 26 episode of AEW Rampage. Nese noted that he had been scouting Guevara and stated that he was “unimpressed.” Guevara responded by called out Nese for “not doing s***” since his arrival in AEW. They then agreed to the bout, but Nese blindsided Guevara with an attack and told the champion that he only held the title because guys like “The Premier Athlete“ weren’t available yet.
