Pure Rules Match: John Walters vs. Brian Johnson
In pre-match promos, Walter reminds Johnson that he once reigned supreme among the finest Pure wrestlers in ROH, and he plans to do so again in the near future, and Johnson says that Walters represents the way ROH is stuck in the past. He makes it clear that he’s the future, and he aims to rewrite history.
Walters and Johnson feel each other out with technical holds early on. The former ROH Pure Champion takes Johnson to the mat and targets his arm. Walter uses his experience advantage to control the bout for the opening minutes, but Johnson gets some room by crotching Walters on the ropes. He slams Walters with the Spike Eskin for a two count. “The Mecca” gains the upper hand and grounds Walters.
Johnson slams the veteran and blasts him with a clothesline. Walters rallies and gets a two count with a slam of his Hammerlock Northern Lights suplex. Johnson pulls Walters; tights during a pin attempt, but the referee catches him. “The Mecca” pokes Walters in the eyes and drops him with The Process for the win.
Winner: Brian Johnson

Women’s Contenders Match: Mandy Leon (with Angelina Love) vs. Trish Adora vs. Allysin Kay (with Marti Belle)
The winner of this bout will go to face Willow on next week’s show; the victor of that contest will challenge for the ROH Women’s World Championship at ROH Final Battle: End of an Era.
Leon quickly exits the ring and lets Kay and Adora open the bout. They feel each other out, and Kay gains the upper hand. She drops Adora with a Samoan drop. Leon sneaks back in and takes the fight to her opponents. They double-team her, and she rolls back to the outside. Adora takes Kay down with a hip toss and suplexes her.
Adora traps Leon in an ankle lock, and Kay wrenches her arms in a butterfly Kimura. Adora breaks the hold and trades blows with Kay. Both women are down after a combined powerbomb/superplex with Leon, who then suplexes Adora onto Kay. Some interference from Love helps Leon win the bout by pinning Kay.
Winner: Mandy Leon
