Red Velvet has advanced to the second round of the AEW TBS Women’s Championship tournament, as she down The Bunny in a first-round bout on the November 5 episode of AEW Rampage.
From the very start of the match, Velvet came out with a lot of energy. She sprinted down to the ring and quickly took The Bunny down to the ground. With the match officially underway, she went to work attacking her opponent, although The Bunny eventually gained the upper hand. She briefly attacking Velvet at ringside in front of Jade Cargill, who was also present to the bout.
Once they returned to the ring, Velvet survived a big kick that dropped her to just one knee. As The Bunny looked to set up her finisher, Velvet countered and hit her opponent with her own finisher, The Final Slice, for the win.
Due to this victory, Velvet will move on to face Cargill in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
