New Japan Pro Wrestling presented another episode of NJPW STRONG on Saturday. Filmed in Garland, TX, the episode was headlined by another chapter in Juice Robinson and Hikuleo’s rivalry. Robinson came out victorious in a Texas Bullrope Match against the massive Tongan, sending the crowd home happy after The United Empire rained on everyone’s parade.
TJP teamed with Will Ospreay in his first match since joining The United Empire, getting the win over Karl Fredericks and Clark Connors. He snuck out the win with a school boy pin on Clark Connors, after the match a brawl between the former-Young Lions and the United Empire cleared the locker room, seeing the LA Dojo boys unite against the Empire and save their comrades Connors and Fredericks.

The United Empire were the only antagonists to get the win on Saturday. Robbie Eagles & Chris Dickinson got a feel-good win over Bullet Club’s ELP & Chris Bey. The make-shift tag team had surprisingly good chemistry, with Dickinson playing defense while the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion tapped out Bey.
To open the show, Ryuske Taguchi led the LA Dojo Young Lions to victory against David Finlay and a ragtag group of indie darlings. The 10-man tag match was a surprising delight, with Ren Narita proving his toughness by getting the win.
