Tom Lawlor‘s two-year contract with Major League Wrestling is ending. Lawlor, who has been a MLW stalwart literally since the promotion made it’s return in 2018, is going to end in a couple weeks, according to Fightful Select. Fightful confirmed the news with MLW and the promotion spoke highly of Tom’s time with Court Bauer’s crew. The report says that Lawlor’s contract will end before MLW returns to Philadelphia before their next set of tapings on November 6. His final bout with the company happens to be a Casket Match with King Muertes.
Lawlor first appeared with Major League Wrestling at their One-Shot show when it returned back in 2018. Since then, Tom became the promotion’s unprecedented Triple Crown Winner as he’s the only talent to win their World Title, the Opera Cup and the Battle Riot. Lawlor was set to defend his Opera Cup Title in 2021, but lost in the opening round to Davey Richards.
