PCO confirms that he is not going to be with Ring of Honor past the end of this year.

PCO has been fortunate enough to have a career resurgence in Ring of Honor. The former WWE Tag Team Champion reinvented his career with the Frankenstein-esque PCO character and found himself in Ring of Honor where he would have actually become World Champion, his first major singles World Championship in the industry.

During a recent appearance on the Pro Wrestling 4-Life podcast with Sean Waltman, PCO confirmed that he would no longer be with Ring of Honor past the end of this year and discussed what he feels can be done with the character in the future.

“I’ve been treated super good and I’m super happy with all the people I’ve met. Coming December 1, I’ll probably be a free agent,” he said. “It will be interesting to see where everything is going, either with Ring of Honor or whatever. The Indies could be a great place to start things up. There’s not a day that I’m not getting hit by someone for shows. I’m under an exclusive contract right now and I couldn’t take any work for the last three years for any Indie companies other than the one’s we were doing business, which was New Japan or CMLL, which got broken, or PWG, I don’t know where we stand with them now.”

He later added, “I think we haven’t even tapped into so much potential of my character. That’s why I’m still working hard and I think I have so much more mileage in the character. We haven’t worked on so much things yet. I feel like Ring of Honor is a great wrestling company, pure wrestling and things like that, not so much a character company for me like WWE where they can explore with tons of money massively something like that.”
