The wedding of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell went on without a hitch, if you consider “without a hitch” being very weird.
InDex were indeed wedded to close out the premire of WWE NXT 2.o as the minister was choked out, a zombie referee sat next to William Regal and Lumis had a hatchet in his coat pocket to ward away any naysayers to the two tying the knot. Hartwell went on a monologue to express her love to Lumis while Dexter gave her a big thumbs up as a substitute for his vows.
This response prompted the minister to speak up, which in turn prompted Lumis to physically silence him. Thankfully, Beth Phoenix got herself recently ordained online and finished the ceremony. When she asked if one another accepted each other as “husband and wife,” Lumis finally spoke up saying, “I do.”

A great deal of the roster was on hand, including the familiar players of Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and the returning Austin Theory. Additonally, Jiro Ikeman played ring bearer, Damian Priest was in attendance and Andre Chase was settled down by Odyssey Jones. Clearly, love was in the air to close out the new NXT.
