After hurting her ankle and getting surgery on her leg last month, Natalya was back in the ring on WWE SmackDown. Alongside her co-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Tamina, she faced Tegan Nox and Shotzi in a non-title match.
Natalya hit the ground running in her first match back, thoug her return didn’t end with a victory. Almost immediately, Natalya began to dominate Shotzi, but she couldn’t tag anyone because to Tamina and Nox were outside the ring.

Because Natalya was watching the chaos unfold, she couldn’t see Blackheart, who snuck up behind her and rolled up her up for the win. As a result, Shotzi & Nox can now easily argue that they deserve a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
