WWE NXT viewership dropped on Tuesday night, just a few days before the TakeOver special on Sunday.
According to Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston, 654,000 viewers watched NXT on August 17, a notable decrease from the 751,000 viewers who watched last week.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, the show scored a 0.15 rating, down from the 0.19 rating it drew on August 10.
The August 17 episode was the go-home show for NXT TakeOver 36, and it featured final face-offs between stars who will be competing at the show. Plus, Roderick Strong faced Ilja Dragunov, MSK defended the NXT Tag Team Championship, and Indi Hartwell proposed to Dexter Lumis.
