One-half of the finals of the NXT Breakout Tournament has been decided. On the 8/10 episode of NXT, Odyssey Jones won a semi-final bout against Trey Baxter on Tuesday night.
The two competitors had contrasting sizes and styles, as Jones displayed his impressive strength against the smaller Baxter. The latter used his legs and his athleticism to level the playing field. He got a near fall on Jones, but the big man splashed him in the corner before he crashed all his weight down on Baxter with a falling one-arm bomb for the 1-2-3.

After the bout, Jones was asked on his feelings about his victory. He expressed his excitement to the NXT Universe before giving a shout-out to his mother by saying he made it.
