Did Dexter Lumis earn the chance to love Indi Hartwell, or did he lose her entirely?
The answer is unclear. This week on WWE NXT, Lumis faced Johnny Gargano in a “Love Her or Lose Her” match. If Lumis won, he’d get a chance to love Hartwell. But if he lost, he’d have to leave her alone. Lumis lost the bout, but he still got to kiss Hartwell.
Love is a strong motivator, and Lumis fight with his heart on his sleeve. At different points, Hartwell and Candice LeRae got involved. Later in the match, Lumis checked on Hartwell when he accidentally knocked her off the apron. But his love made him blind, as Gargano capitalized on the distraction and pinned Lumis.

Gargano then walkd to the back with LeRae and Hartwell, leaving a heartbroken Lumis by himself. But Hartwell ran to the ring and tackled Lumis to the mat, showering him with kisses all the while. The two made out in the ring, and Gargano walked away
