Terry Funk is having more health issues and has reportedly been moved into an assisted living facility.
According to WWE Hall Of Famer Don Muraco, Terry Funk is now living in an assisted care facility due to suffering from dementia. Muraco made the following comments on his podcast:
“I heard that Terry Funk is in a home and disabled for dementia.
“Yeah. I spoke with Scott Casey over the weekend. I guess he’s driving to Amarillo [Texas]. He’s driving all the way down to Amarillo. So I don’t know. I know his wife passed away two or three years ago. I think his daughter’s [there], he had that ranch down there, but I don’t know who he’s with or what’s going on.”
PWInsider.com‘s Mike Johnson is reporting Muraco’s comments are accurate, adding that Funk has been dealing with health issues that have gotten “progressively worse” over the last year after his wife, Vicki, passed away in 2019.
Funk had also been suffering from hip issues earlier this year. In February, Dustin Rhodes had asked fans to send some prayers Funk’s way, noting that he was in a lot of pain and could use some words of encouragement. Rhodes later clarified that Funk was dealing with the hip issue and that he was still a “tough SOB.”
