Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) previously announced that it will return with a live show on August 1. In an update, the promotion has announced that this event will be “Mystery Vortex 7,” and it will be held at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Typically, matches for ths event are not announced ahead of time.

The sixth “Mystery Vortex” event was held in May 2019, and it featured the following card:
- Trey Miguel defeated Tony Deppen
- Chuck Taylor defeated Orange Cassidy
- Jeff Cobb defeated Jonathan Gresham to retain the PWG World Championship
- Brody King defeated Trent? and Jake Atlas
- Jungle Boy defeated Puma King
- Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz) defeated Rey Horus & Flamita to retain the PWG World Tag Team Championship
- Darby Allin defeated Joey Janela in a Guerrilla Warfare match
