Doug Williams will be making his anticipated return to the squared circle this Saturday and he’ll be doing it in a memorable way. Insane Championship Wrestling announced that Williams will be a contender on their Fight Club program and he will be battling DCT for his in-ring return. Not only that, but the show will be airing on WWE Network.

Williams revealed that he’d be coming out of retirement back in March stating, “The events of the past year has made me reassess my decision to retire as it made me understand that you should use your life to fullest doing what you enjoy.”
During that time, Williams told Dominic DeAngelo of WrestleZone that he’s got a different spin in store for when he steps once more between the ropes.
“It’s gonna be kind of ‘I’m here to take over. I’m here to win matches, win titles, and get my name back out there again.’ So I’m going to try and put a different spin on it going into the matches I have for different promotions,” he said.
Doug initially retired from wrestling back in 2018 before he was to undergo neck surgery, but after matters got back to normal, Williams made the decision to tie the boots back on. You can check out our full interview with Doug Williams below:
