WWE is set to return to the World’s Most Famous Arena.
According to PWInsider, WWE will tape an episode of Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden on September 10.
Widely regarded as the home of WWE, the famous arena returned to full capacity on June 20 for a Foo Fighters concert which marked the arena’s first sellout event since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020.
WWE had two scheduled events at MSG get cancelled in 2020 due to the aforementioned pandemic after the state of New York officially shutdown on March 20, 2020.
