The match between Styles and McIntyre began as a normal, heated clash, but with Bobby Lashley, MVP, and a group of girls all watching, the situation was bound to get chaotic.Plus, the Viking Raiders made their way to ringside to even the odds. Late in the bout, McIntyre sent Styles to the floor with a huge slam, and Lashley promptly hit the ring to start a brawl with McIntyre. The ongoing chaos in the ring forced the referee to end the match in a no-contest, but that wasn’t the end of the night.

After a quick commercial break, a surprise six-man tag team match was underway, with AJ Styles, Lashley, and Omos teaming up to take on McIntyre and the Viking Raiders. In that match, McIntyre ended up getting the last laugh, as he tagged in while Omos was busy destroying the Viking Raiders outside of the ring. In the end, Styles tagged an unprepared Lashley, and McIntyre dropped him with a Claymore out of nowhere. He then pinned the WWE Champion for a major victory heading into their battle at WWE Hell in a Cell.
