This week, WWE RAW kicked off with a Tag Team Battle Royal, with MACE & T-BAR, Gran Metalik, the New Day, R-K-Bro, the Viking Raiders, and John Morrison all facing off against each other. In a hard-fought match, the Viking Raiders came out on top and earned a shot at the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship.

Prior to the match, The Miz made his way out to the ring in a wheelchair, and he said that the tag team division has become dry. But Morrison saved the day by moistening it up with his drip stick. With the match officially underway, the teams wasted little time in attacking their particular rivals. Randy Orton and Riddle focused on both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, and T-BAR and MACE attempting to take out anyone who made the mistake of getting too close to them.

As the match began to wind down, the battle came down to R-K-Bro, the New Day, and the Viking Raiders. After Kingston hit Erik with a double stomp, Riddle distracted the former WWE Champion, allowing Orton to eliminate him and get the last laugh. But the Viking Raiders stunned Orton and eliminated “The Viper” to win the battle royal. As a result, they earned a chance to challenge for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship.

After the match, the duo celebrated and planned their celebratory feast backstage. But the champions, AJ Styles and Omos interrupted and talked some smack about their future match. Styles then made fun of Erik for smelling bad to add more heat to this brewing rivalry.
