Orange Cassidy ended the last episode of AEW Dynamite before the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
First, he made it clear that he refused the offer from AEW World Kenny Omega and Don Callis to withdraw from the bout. Then, he blasted an unsuspecting Omega with a Superman Punch.

Then, “Freshly Squeezed” floored PAC with another Superman Punch, Cassidy then grabbed the title and gave a casual thumbs up, sending a clear message to his opponents on Sunday.

The triple threat bout at AEW Double or Nothing came together when Omega ruined the eliminator match between PAC and Cassidy. Dissatisfied with the inconclusive end to that contest, AEW President Tony Khan booked the three-way title bout for the pay-per-view.
