WWE And Adnan Virk Mutually Agree To Part Ways

WWE has made yet another change to their commentary team for Monday nights as Adnan Virk is leaving the company.

On Tuesday, WWE announced that they’ve mutually parted ways with Monday Night RAW’s lead play-by-play commentator Adnan Virk. The 42-year old was hired by WWE on April 12. Virk replaced Tom Phillips and had worked alongside Byron Saxton and Corey Graves during WWE’s flagship Monday night show for the past seven weeks.

No word from WWE on a replacement for Virk at the time of this writing.

Virk, who still works as an anchor for MLB Network and DAZN, has since posted the following statement, citing scheduling and travel logistics as cause for his WWE departure:

Thanks to @WWE for a wonderful opportunity. The weekly travel along with my other jobs was a grind for me and my family. Am grateful to everyone with the company especially @WWEGraves and @ByronSaxton for being such fantastic teammates.

Stay with WrestleZone for any and all updates on this breaking story.
