The latest overnight ratings numbers are in for WWE Friday Night SmackDown. This week’s episode saw the network television come back with under 2 million viewers.
According to TV Line , this week’s WWE SmackDown viewership came back with 1.83 million viewers As far as demographics go, the 18-49 demographic saw a boost. This week’s 0.5 rating was up from the was a bump up from the ratings last week according to TV Line.
This week’s episode featured the return of Aleister Black. Black attacked Big E, allowing Apollo Crews to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship. This week’s episode also set up a first time ever match up for next week between The Usos and The Street Profits.
Update: Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics later reported that the show drew 1.93 million viewers, a figure that’s even closer to the 2 million mark.
WWE Smackdown on Friday on Fox was watched by 1,933,000 viewers. That's up slightly from last week's 9-month low of 1,920,000 and down 7% compared to the median of the previous 4 weeks.
