Trey Miguel says the ability to push Sami Callihan’s buttons has all of the makings for a good feud in IMPACT Wrestling.
Miguel was a recent guest on the Wrestling Perspective Podcast and talked about working with Sami Callihan in IMPACT Wrestling. The pair are currently embroiled in a feud that will see them clash at Rebellion in a Last Man Standing match, but Miguel says that their real-life relationship has actually made things easier for their on-screen quarrel.
“Sami has helped a lot because of the narrative he has right now, and I feel like we have good chemistry and ability to just play off one another. Not everything is so meticulously like, ‘Hey this is how I have to make this sound.’ It’s really just like, get into it. And Sami helped train me and I know Sami personally, so I have that comfortability with him and understanding that I don’t think we can go too far in this,” Miguel explained, “so like I’m gonna push your buttons and you’re gonna push mine and this is gonna be something great because of it. We have a good mutual respect and understanding, like whatever I say is just what I say. It might not be personal, and that helps a lot.”
