One week after King Corbin attacked Drew McIntyre, the two men clashed in the main event of the final WWE RAW before WrestleMania 37.
WWE Champion Bobby Lashley had previously stated that any competitor who successfully took out McIntyre would earn a title shot at the pay-per-view.
With this monumental opportunity on the line, Corbin gave McIntyre everything he had. The King of the Ring winner controlled the match for a few minutes.

Still, “The Scottish Warrior” persevered and gained the upper hand. Both men traded big moves throughout the match, but a Future Shock DDT turned the tables in McIntyre’s favor.

Corbin fired back with a Deep Six, but an inadvertent distraction from MVP let McIntyre hit Corbin with the Claymore for the win. McIntyre taunted Lashley after the match, and the show faded to black with the two rivals staring each other down.
