Earlier today, Drew McIntyre arrived at the arena and is stopped by Sarah. Sarah asks if McIntyre heard about the offer Bobby Lashley made to the locker room last week. McIntyre says anyone who tries to cash in has to worry about if Lashley is good for his promise to give whoever takes him out a title shot. They also have to worry about what McIntyre is going to do to them in the process.
In-Ring Segment: The Hurt Business
MVP says Lashley is going to walk in and out as the champion at WrestleMania. Lashley repeats that if anyone takes out McIntyre, they will be rewarded with a title match. MVP says McIntyre has already been given his opportunity. It’s time to give someone else a chance. MVP asks if anyone is willing to take the challenge. No one comes out. MVP reminds everyone that Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin got themselves barred from ringside for the title match because they lost to McIntyre last week.
Lashley says they had a perfect opportunity and they (Benjamin and Alexander) blew it. Lashley says he refuses to associate himself with incompetence. MVP asks them to explain to themselves. Alexander says they could have done this in the back. Benjamin gets in MVP’s face. Lashley decks Alexander. Benjamin pulls Lashley off of Alexander. Lashley beats down Benjamin. Lashley grabs a mic and says as far as Alexander and Benjamin are concerned, The Hurt Business is over.
