New Japan Pro Wrestling presents their last major show of February on Sunday. Castle Attack: Night 2 will be headlined by four huge title matches.
The main event will see the IWGP Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship defended on its own for the first time since Wrestle Kingdom 14. Tetsuya Naito, determined to undo the double champion’s plan to unify the Intercontinental Title with the Heavyweight Title, will face off against Kota Ibushi. Naito’s long history with the IWGP Intercontinental Title has seen him nearly destroy the belt, and now he will strive to be the last man to hold the divisive belt.
Also the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title belt was vacated due to an injury to Hiromu Takahashi, and now three men will vie to hold the belt. El Phantasmo, Takahashi’s original challenger, will face Takahashi’s tag partner BUSHI and Takahashi’s longest rival El Desperado.
NEVER Openweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahasi will face The United Empire’s Great-o-Khan, and The Guerrillas of Destiny defend the IWGP Tag Team Titles against CHAOS.
The show will air LIVE at 12am EST on NJPWWorld.com
