Following NXT TakeOver: WarGames earlier this month, it was widely reported that Candice LeRae suffered a broken arm during her match. This belief went all the way to Candice herself, who zoomed straight to the hospital following the PPV.
However, in a talk with PWInsider, NXT’s Poison Pixie confirmed that her injury was thankfully not broken after all.
It was hard to believe, I was like this is definitely broken, we went to the ER, got x-rays…even our medical team looked at it and I want to say within 24 hours I was able to pretty much use my arm and my fingers all again
She went on to confirm that her arm was inoperable immediately following Shotzi Blackheart diving off a ladder onto a chair with her arm underneath. However, things began to heal by the end of the match. She confirmed that “all the cartilage and stuff” in her arm was smashed together, but it seems that she will heal in the long run. It’s a Festivus Miracle!
