Charlotte Flair returned to WWE RAW this week after she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Asuka at WWE TLC. She recapped her victory on Sunday, and she helped a friend out in the process. Flair called Asuka “the heartbeat of the division.” Flair then called Asuka to ringside. The champions celebrated together. Asuka said Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler weren’t ready for her team with Flair. Flair hinted that she’s interested in the RAW Women’s Championship, but Jax and Baszler came to the ring.

Jax told Flair it was good to see her, and she pointed out how she’s the one who hurt “The Queen” in the first place. But Flair fired right back. “I kicked your a– last night,” said Flair. The former champions said they hand out season’s beatings. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke came to the stage and pointed out how Jax and Baszler lost the titles. Rose called Jax a reindeer. The potential challengers for Flair and Asuka then squared off in a match. The new champions stayed at ringside and joined the broadcast team for the match. Jax and Baszler emerged victorious.

Later in the show, Flair and Asuka faced Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans in a non-title match. Royce gained the upper hand on Asuka early on. Evans and Royce were controlling the match, but they argued with each other. Asuka capitalized and tagged Flair. She cleared house and single-handedly turned the momentum in the champions’ favor. Later on, Asuka saved Flair from a half crab by Royce. In the end, Flair made Royce tap out to the Figure-Eight. The camera panned to reveal Jax and Baszler were watching the match on a monitor backstage.
