Pat McAfee’s team won the advantage for WarGames last night as Pete Dunne defeated Kyle O’Reilly in a ladder match, but it wasn’t without controversy as a masked man attacked O’Reilly. Adam Cole believes it is McAfee and gave a staunch warning to him.
“It’s bulls—,” Cole said after NXT. “It’s complete and utter bulls—. Everybody and their mother knows it was Pat McAfee. If you don’t think it was you are kidding yourself. Pat, here’s the deal. Your name has taken you a lot of places. Your money has taken you a lot of places. In matter of fact, it made you a lot of friends. Here’s the beautiful thing, even though you took a shortcut in the WarGames advantage match, the wonderful thing about WarGames is that your name will not help you. Your money will not help you.
