Paul Heyman is the co-host of WWE Talking Smack, so he had the opportunity to reflect on the possibility of Roman Reigns facing Drew McIntyre instead of Randy Orton at WWE Survivor Series. Reigns is scheduled to face the WWE Champion at the pay-per-view, and Orton will defend the title against McIntyre this week on RAW.
“Roman Reigns is ready for Drew McIntyre, should Drew McIntyre unseat Randy Orton to be the WWE Champion,” said Heyman. He also stated that Reigns is prepared to face Randy Orton if “The Viper” is victorious on Monday night.
The “Special Council to The Tribal Chief” remains confident that Reigns will win, regardless of Monday’s outcome. “Whomever walks into Survivor Series as the second-most important champion in WWE will remain the second-most important champion in WWE when they step into the ring in the main event of Survivor Series against the single biggest superstar in the entire industry today, Roman Reigns,” said Heyman.
Heyman also shared his thoughts about Dolph Ziggler when Otis appeared on the show. Heyman shared Otis’s disdain for “The Showoff.” “His hair and his abs piss me off, both of them, because I have neither,” said Heyman. “And they both piss me off that he has them and doesn’t make good use of either one of them. Why would God give [that] hair and abs to someone with that personality instead of giving it to someone like me?”
