WWE continues to file new trademarks.
On Thursday, October 29, 2020, WWE filed to trademark “Chigona Bomb.” At this time, there is no certainty as to how exactly the trademark would be used, but it’s worth noting that NXT’s Raquel Gonzalez uses the “Chingona Bomb” finishing move and often uses #chingona on social media posts.
The trademark was filed with the following description:
IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports via an online community portal

It’s unclear why WWE applied to trademark the term spelled as “Chigona” but speculation would lead to the belief that it is easier to obtain than the proper spelling. The slang phrase translates in Spanish to “a bad-ass woman”.
