John Cena took a break from hunting down Dominic Toretto and making peace to appear in a stunt on the upcoming fifth season of The Eric Andre Show. Adult Swim’s surrealist post-modern talk show regularly features fake celebrity guests and real celebrities that aren’t in on the joke. John was a rare personality that was in on the joke, and he ironically got to get one over on the comedian host.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel this week, Eric Andre described his interaction with John Cena during filming and how the former WWE Champion could still dish out the pain. “John Cena did the stunt right but we prepped for the stunt wrong and that metal shelf came over and clocked me in the head. I got concussed and went to the hospital.”
