August 1 Warning Identity Revealed Mr. Anderson Kennedy

Ken Anderson Admits A Run With WWE Or AEW Isn’t Currently On His Radar

Once upon a time, Ken Anderson, formerly known as Mr. Kennedy was branded as the fastest rising superstar in WWE SmackDown history but is he looking to repeat his success in AEW?

AEW has picked up many names that used to be in WWE, but the former WWE Money in the Bank winner and TNA Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion admits All Elite Wrestling is not on his radar currently.

“Yeah, maybe (laughs). You know, right now, my head’s not really there. I am enjoying what I’m doing right now—learning a new trade. I’d like to start my own, you know, contracting business at some point. So, I’m kind of learning the ropes there.” Anderson admits while speaking to Sportskeeda. “But, it definitely could be fun at some point. I also don’t know what their schedule is right now. I haven’t really looked into it, but you know, I don’t think I can do a WWE full schedule. I want to be around for my kids. I want to see them as much as possible.”

SportsKeeda’s Chris Featherstone ended the exchange by noting that AEW only hosts Dynamite tapings right now and doesn’t run live events, which led to Anderson joking that he hoped somebody would give them a call on his behalf.

Ken Anderson was supposed to return to IMPACT Wrestling earlier this year for their TNA Wrestling reunion show. However, Anderson was unable to reform Aces & Eights for one night because of the global coronavirus outbreak canceling all WrestleMania weekend shows. He was most recently seen on NWA Powerrr where he worked a program with Eli Drake and competed in the TV title tournament.
