Tenille Dashwood feels valued by IMPACT Wrestling and explains why she’s sticking around for the long haul.
Dashwood took part in this week’s IMPACT Press Pass media call and spoke about her decision to sign a contract with the company. After working for IMPACT Wrestling on a per-appearance agreement last year, Dashwood confirmed to Fightful that she has now signed an exclusive deal to remain with the promotion.
Many new and returning talents have praised IMPACT for allowing them creative freedoms they wouldn’t have elsewhere, but Dashwood comes back to IMPACT with an established character and attitude. WrestleZone’s Managing Editor Bill Pritchard asked Dashwood if she’s not back for creative freedom since she has already made her “All About Me” motto known, what was the biggest appeal in signing a long-term deal with IMPACT.
“There were many reasons why I signed a contract with IMPACT. Like I’ve said, the women’s division is really on fire and they’ve made some smart moves as far as the wrestling industry goes. Other than me still have things to do and prove and enjoy in wrestling, IMPACT management made it clear how important I was for their company. It is so nice to be appreciated and respected and valued, and when it comes down to it,” Dashwood said, “I want to work at a place and with people that have creative freedom and be positive about what they’re doing and in turn, deliver a good show.”
